Crossroads of Twilight $29.95 In the tenth book of The Wheel of Time series from the New York Times No. 1 bestselling author Robert Jordan, the world and the characters stand at a crossroads, and the world approaches twilight, when the power of the Shadow grows stronger. Rand al'Thor, the Dragon Reborn himself, has cleansed the Dark One's taint from the male half of the True Source, and everything has changed. Yet nothing has, for only men who can channel believe that saidin is clean again, and a man who can channel is still hated and feared-even one prophesied to save the world. Now Rand must gamble again, with himself at stake, and he cannot be sure which of his allies are really enemies. Chapter One The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again. In one Age, called the Third Age by some, an Age yet to come, an Age long past, a wind rose in the Rhannon Hills. The wind was not the beginning. There are neither beginnings nor endings to the turning of the Wheel of Time. But it was a beginning. Born among the groves and vineyards that covered much of the rugged hills, the olive trees in evergreen rows, the ordered vines leafless till spring, the cold wind blew west and north across the prosperous farms dotting the land between the hills and the great harbor of Ebou Dar. The land lay winter fallow still, but men and women were already oiling plowshares and tending harness, preparing for the planting to come. They paid little mind to the trains of heavily laden wagons moving east along the dirt roads carrying people who wore odd clothes and spoke with odd accents. Many of the strangers seemed to be farmers themselves, familiar implements lashed to their wagon boxes, and in their wagons unfamiliar saplings with roots balled in rough cloth, but they were heading on toward more distant land. Nothing to do |

Jewelry of Southeast Asia $56.1 From the Publisher Southeast Asian jewelry is eagerly sought by collectors around the globe. Once prized largely for its ethnographic interest, today it is recognized as a high art form. In a tour de force of original research and synthesis, involving years of study and extensive travel throughout the region, Anne Richter gives us the first comprehensive account of a jewelry tradition that stretches across millennia from the vigor of Neolithic and Bronze Age art to the present day. Magnificent gold jewelry of classical Cambodia and Java, a man's ruby-eyed dragon ring from Thailand, silver work of the Vietnamese court, filigree bridal necklaces of Sumatra, jeweled belt buckles and tobacco boxes of Malaysia, royal gold sashes of the pre-Hispanic Philippines, adornment for remote hill peoples -- the more than 300 pieces seen here, many previously unpublished, reveal a jewelry notable for its beauty and rich significance. The analyses of the symbolism shed new light on Asian cultures, while the aesthetic appeal of the items makes this volume irresistible for all jewelry lovers. |

Yasushi Tsujimoto $36.99 Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Yasushi Tsujimoto, better known by his ringname "brother" YASSHI, is a Japanese professional wrestler, known for his appearances in El Dorado Wrestling, Dragon Gate, and All Japan Pro Wrestling. He was an amateur wrestler before becoming a pro wrestler. Tsujimoto debuted in Toryumon Japan as part of the T2P class as Stevie "brother" Tsujimoto. He was ranked second, roughly tied with Masato Yoshino, but far behind Milano Collection AT. Both he and Yoshino would join Milano's faction The Italian Connection, renaming to YASSINI and YOSSINO respectively. Tsujimoto did not like his new name, and after arguing with Milano, settled on "brother YASSINI". The Italian Connection began showing a divide, as Milano and YOSSINO were face oriented, whereas YASSINI and fellow ItaCon stablemates Condotti Shuji, Bakery Yagi and Berlinetta Boxer were all heels. YASSINI and Shuji would split from the ItaCon when they attacked Milano and YOSSINO with blue boxes. |
